Don Stanziano is Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer at Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ. Don leads all marketing, brand, external communications, and consumer insights across Banner’s eight markets in six states. He joined Banner in July 2024 after six and half years as CMCO at Geisinger and eight years leading marketing and communications at Scripps Health. During his 25 years in healthcare marketing and communications, he has led rebranding campaigns that improved preference, and drove marketing technology initiatives that modernized the marketing function to allow for measurable marketing-driven customer acquisition. Earlier in his career, Don spent a decade as an award-winner, professional journalist before serving as communications director and press secretary for a member of Congress. Don is a member of the Strategic Health Care Marketing Editorial Advisory Board.
