I’m very pleased to announce that Jane Weber Brubaker has been promoted to the role of Executive Editor of Plain-English Health Care.
Jane has been the editor of eHealthcare Strategy & Trends since 2015 and is chair of the eHealthcare Leadership Awards. She contributed several of our most popular articles to Strategic Health Care Marketing between 2013 and 2015, and currently produces and moderates Plain-English Health Care’s webinars.
Effective immediately, Jane will assume editorial leadership for both SHCM and eHST, shaping content across the Plain-English Health Care digital network and print portfolio.
Jane has consistently produced high-value content for our publications, and forged connections with top leaders in the healthcare industry. Her expertise in digital and traditional marketing, and her deep understanding of emerging trends across the healthcare landscape make her the ideal person to lead these publications into the future.
A recognized direct and digital marketing leader, Jane transitioned from publishing to healthcare in 2009, joining Connecticut’s largest care management organization in a communications role. Prior to this move, she held management positions at several publishers and a top digital marketing and online promotions company; served as president of the Direct Marketing Club of New York; taught online direct marketing at Mercy College; served on the executive committee of the DMA Echo Awards; and wrote thought leadership articles for industry-leading publications about marketing innovation and digital technologies. Jane has holds BA and MA degrees in special education, an MBA in marketing, and certificates in Health IT and Search Engine Marketing.
Most of all, Jane has consistently curated and produced content that members and readers like you value. Appointing her to this new role enables us to deliver even more content and insights that help you succeed in your role as a leader of marketing and strategy at your organization.
