Suzanne Bharati Hendery, MA, APR is the chief customer & communications officer for Renown Health in Reno, Nevada. As a seasoned health care executive, she leads the organization’s strategy and mission by growing reputation, engagement, loyalty, referrals, and volumes in conjunction with her marketing, communications, web/digital/social media, patient experience, call center, and community benefits team.
Renown Health is a not-for-profit, integrated health care network serving Nevada, Lake Tahoe, and people in rural communities across 100,000 square miles from Salt Lake City to Sacramento.
Over the last 25 years, Suzanne has enjoyed partnering with physicians and leading cross-functional teams to demonstrate results that improve customer preference, experiences, and drive high a ROI. She is a student of smart innovations and loves reading and sharing brilliant best practices that improve patient care and public health — and she is thrilled to be a member of the Strategic Health Care Editorial Advisory Board.
Suzanne earned her Master of Arts in Marketing Communications from the University of Connecticut and her bachelor’s degree in Media Systems and Management from Westfield State University in Massachusetts. She is also a guest faculty member on marketing at Harvard University and a board member of the Society for Healthcare Marketing and Strategy Development (SHSMD).
