Cincinnati’s health care market is highly competitive, with eight health systems, including an academic medical center and a renowned children’s hospital.

When Rob Whitehouse joined TriHealth as vice president of marketing and community relations seven years ago, the health system struggled to differentiate itself in a crowded marketplace. The system comprised multiple hospitals and other business units that operated semi-independently, lacking a common culture, vision, values, and overarching strategy.

“Under the leadership of CEO Mark Clement, our organization did the hard work of building a system culture and committing fully to population health,” says Whitehouse. “By 2022, we were ready to tell our brand story and partnered with Core Creative to do so.”
