Don Stanziano, MHA, is senior vice president for marketing, brand and public relations for Banner Health. He joined the organization in July 2024, bringing with him decades of experience leading healthcare marketing and communications teams.

Stanziano will lead efforts in shaping and elevating Banner’s brand, enhancing digital engagement with consumers and guiding external communications.

Prior to this, Stanziano was the chief marketing and communications officer for Geisinger in Pennsylvania, which has been consistently ranked among the nation’s leading integrated delivery systems. Before that, he spent 16 years at Scripps Health in San Diego, serving eight years as vice president of marketing and communications.

Among his many professional awards and recognitions is most recently being named one of Becker’s Healthcare’s hospital and health system chief marketing officers to know.

Stanziano holds a master’s in health care administration from Ohio University and bachelor’s degree in journalism from Bowling Green State University.
