For the past 25 years, the eHealthcare Leadership Awards have recognized excellence in health care digital marketing. During the 2023 awards ceremony at HCIC in Los Angeles, the winning videos brought the awards show to life — just as videos can bring marketing efforts to life every day.

That’s the beauty of video. The combination of sight, sound, and movement can serve as a powerful tool to capture an audience’s attention, evoke emotion, and motivate actions. Savvy marketers use videos for branding, service line marketing, education, recruitment and retention, fundraising, and more.

Category Overview

Best Short Video Content (under two minutes) and Best Long Video Content (over two minutes) were two of the 30 categories that health-related organizations could enter. Among dozens of submissions, the judges selected eight short-format videos and five long-format videos to receive Platinum awards. Top honors went to:

Best Short Video Content

  • CHRISTUS Health
  • The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center
  • Orlando Health (2 awards)
  • Peer Voice
  • Mass General Brigham
  • Saint Peter’s Healthcare System
  • UCLA Health

Best Long Video Content

  • Advocate Aurora Health
  • Living Beyond Breast
    Cancer
  • Geisinger

The judges evaluated the videos based on the submissions’ objectives and production quality. The entries showed the variety of ways that marketers use videos in their marketing efforts.
